Waihe‘e Refuge Hawai‘i Life Give Day
In the days leading up to Hawai‘i Life Day and Worthshop 9, Hawai‘i Life is hosting a voluntary Give Day on June 4 at the Waihe‘e Coastal Dunes and Wetlands Refuge, in partnership with Hawai‘i Land Trust. The day includes light or hands-on stewardship work, a hosted picnic lunch, and time on the land with attendees, local community members, and HLT staff. While not part of the formal Hawai‘i Life Day event, it’s open to all and part of the week’s broader spirit.

Join us if you can
Hawaii Life’s Conservation and Legacy Lands will be there!
If you’ve met Beth you may have heard about CLL. The first goal of Hawai‘i Life’s Conservation and Legacy Lands initiative is to generate awareness of the role that conservation plays in Hawai‘i’s future and to further conservation efforts across Hawai‘i. We are doing a little of that at HL Give Day on Maui.
Land in Hawai‘i is not just real estate.
Land in Hawai‘i is not just real estate.

More about CLL
In 2018, Hawaii Life launched a Conservation and Legacy Lands initiative in recognition that preserving Hawaiʻi is part of our kuleana as a Hawaiʻi-based brokerage – a responsibility of environmental and cultural stewardship we take seriously. The initiative was launched to further conservation efforts across Hawaii by leveraging our considerable and wide-reaching platform. Please view this video to learn more about the genesis of this crucial effort.
As a specialized area of real estate practice, Conservation and Legacy Lands focuses on places with environmental, agricultural, or cultural conservation values (or sometimes all of these). These are properties that should either remain entirely undeveloped or whose unique values present a need for conservation through highly sensitive development – which may sometimes be mandated by Hawaiʻi legal and regulatory frameworks.
In addition to listing these unique properties, we are here to generate and expand a pool of committed buyers and donors for conservation purchases in Hawaii, and to represent these clients, as well as communities that steward these properties, in their conservation efforts. Hawaii Lifeʻs Conservation and Legacy Lands initiative serves our clients by identifying and gathering information about suitable properties across the state, educating our brokers and agents, collaborating with conservation entities, and refining best practices for representing sellers and buyers of properties suitable for conservation in Hawaiʻi.

Hawaii Land Trust are stewards of this beautiful land.
Hawaiʻi Land Trust (HILT) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and stewarding the lands that sustain Hawai‘i—its coastlines, cultural landscapes, forests, and open spaces. Through conservation, education, and community engagement, HILT helps ensure that Hawai‘i’s most important places are cared for in perpetuity. We’re proud to call HILT a friend of Hawai‘i Life. They’ll be hosting us as stewards of the land during our Give Day, and we’re honored to support their mission of mālama ʻāina.
Hope to See You There!
